Comprised using Jenga blocks and conceptual thinking, Peaces serves as a visual metaphor for humanity. The Jenga tower, when stacked in its initial position, is sturdy and upright. In the case of this tower, the exterior is painted with the leaves from olive branches, symbolizing peace. Of course, as each block of the tower is slowly removed, the tower becomes unstable. Simply put, peace is being destroyed. Moreover, as each block from the tower is pulled out and relocated to the top, one will notice that the interior areas of each block are painted in different melanin hues indicative of skin tones representing humanity. In other words, when we destroy peace, we interfere with the harmony and balance of our world. Regardless of our justifications, we end up destroying ourselves. In the end, there is nothing left for humanity but the remnants of a unsustainable system destined to collapse.
